Summary:
Communication systems using optical single side
band transmission techniques (OSSB) are investigated and studied the
viability for the forthcoming generation networks.
It will be developed novel Microwave Monolithic Integrated Circuits
(MMICs) to generate SSB signals, in the optical domain, at
multigigabit regimes and also for electrical equalisation of the
system dispersion.
